Stacey

I live in Seattle with my husband and two sons, Sage and Sascha. Before I had kids, I was a journalist at U.S. News & World Report in Washington, DC. I also did a stint on the investigative team at US News where I covered the Food and Drug Administration and other health-related issues. After college, I taught first grade in Baltimore as part of Teach for America. I went on to get my teaching certificate in Montessori early childhood education. Now I’m a freelance writer.
